Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an account or log in?

Tap "Sign Up" on the welcome screen and enter your email, name, and a password. If you already have an account, enter your email and password on the login screen and tap "Login." If you've forgotten your password, contact our support team and we'll help you reset it.

How do I find golfers near me?

Go to the Discover tab (compass icon) to browse nearby players. The app uses your device's location to show golfers in your area. You can also switch to the "Nearby" filter on the Clubhouse feed to see posts from players close to you. Make sure location permissions are enabled in your device settings.

How do I record a round on the scorecard?

Open a direct message or group chat conversation and tap the menu icon to start a new match. Enter the course name and the scorecard will appear. Tap any hole to enter your score, putts, and fairway hit. In group rounds, each player can track their own scores using the player tabs at the top of the scorecard.

How do I send messages to other golfers?

Go to the Messages tab (chat icon) and start a new conversation by tapping the compose button. You can also tap on any player's profile to send them a direct message. Group chats can be created to coordinate with multiple playing partners at once.

How do I find golf courses on the map?

Tap the Map tab (map icon) to see golf courses near your location. Tap on any course pin to view details including the course name, address, and a weather forecast for that location. You can also schedule tee times directly from the course details.

How do I schedule a tee time?

From the Clubhouse feed or a course on the map, you can create a tee time by selecting a date, time, and course. Invite your buddies and they'll receive a notification. Each invitee can accept or decline the invitation.

How do I change the app's language or appearance?

Go to Settings (gear icon on your Profile tab). Under "Appearance," choose Light, Dark, or System theme. Under "Language," select from 11 supported languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and more.

How do I delete my account?

To request account deletion, please email us at support@bogeybuds.app from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request and remove your personal data within 30 days, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
